latest friction feeders.
According to the company the new ERT series of friction feeders have been designed to provide excellent speed over a wide product range, without the need for multiple motors. The patent pending two-stage feeder uses a single AC servo motor and motion control system to achieve reliable feeding at speeds up to 750 pieces per minute.
In releasing this friction feeders solution, company President Kevin Quinn said: “For the first time, both integrators and end users can use a single feeder with catch-up capability, to achieve cost-efficient results.” The ERT series is appropriate for industries needing reliable machines for fast, accurate feeding of various paper and plastic items,
The ERT series has been developed for applications in the printing, packaging, labeling and direct marketing industries, such as coupons, game pieces and cards. As Mr. Quinn stated, “We welcome licensing discussions where all parties can benefit from this new technology”. As well as friction feeders, other machines manufactured include the Smart Card Engine, the Mini-Card System, the Card Mailing System and the PF204 booklet/label system.
