Starting with a web of paper, customer database(s), files of page layouts and criteria regarding who is to receive which documents and inserts, the end product is metered envelopes ready for mailing. The system coordinates and integrates every step … at up to 7200 envelopes per hour.

Overall Control and Timing

The PowerForward modular Mailing System is built around your mailing machine – either your existing equipment or a new machine that you have selected. We can integrate most conventional mailing machine into our systems – Böwe Bell + Howell, Pitney Bowes, Mail Crafters and others.

The throughput of the system is controlled by the mailing machine with the goal of keeping it running at full speed without stoppages or gaps, even when problems occur in assembling the input for mailing.

Intelligent Document Creation

• Interfaces with your laser printer(s), ink jet printer(s) or digital color
  press
• Prints one or more documents per person (e.g., letter and additional
  personalized pages), appropriately selected and customized
• Attaches one or more items to some or all of these documents, e.g.,
  labels, cards or product samples

Multi-page Accumulation and Folding

• Accumulates pages for each customer (or related customers)
• Folds according to the specified folding style

Selective Inserting

• Adds inserts based on selection criteria and customer information,
  number limited only by envelope size
• Personalizes inserts, if required, using a print head incorporated into
  the feeder
• Optionally verifies inserts using bar code or vision system
• As many feeders as needed, depending only your application and
  available floor space
• Overall throughput not affected by the number of feeders

Envelope Stuffing, Sealing and Metering

• Interfaces directly with mailing machine infeed
• Continues running even if mailing machine stops by buffering mailing
  input

Final Sorting Step

• Diverts envelopes to additional stations based on weight, special
  handling requirements. etc.
